This is a long one - read it to the bottom, girls! . Shooting Bare sessions for as long as I have has put me in a unique position to witness SO MANY women’s negative self image issues. Even when we think we’re comfortable in our bodies, getting naked-ish in front of a stranger has a way of bringing any lingering negative thoughts right to the surface. . What I love about these sessions is that they are an amazing way to wash those feelings away and truly see yourself for the beautiful being that you really are. . “I don't think I have ever seen myself as beautiful as how these photos show me!” . “This is me and I am beautiful. I wanted this to be a gift for my husband, but it ended up being more of a gift to myself.” . I LOVED seeing all the many ways you all are grateful for your own amazing bodies. I would LOVE to document that on a special day - let’s call it the Bare Body Love Day. . On March 2, @magdalenastyless and I are opening up a day of completely FREE mini Bare sessions and quickie makeup styles for the sole purpose of documenting YOUR beauty. We want to gift this to you, so you can always remember these feelings of confidence and self love. . We’re opening booking for these first to those of you who commented on our post this week. If there are any spots left by Monday, we’ll open up for anyone else who’d love to participate. . We ask that you only sign up if you fully intend to come, as we imagine this day will fill quickly and we want to include as many women as possible. . Here's mine - I am so grateful for my body that lets me move and travel and see all the incredible creations around me. I love that I have the strength to hike a trail or scoop my kids up in my arms. My body carried and grew and fed two babies - it can do anything! I'm grateful I can touch my husband and feel my long hair brush against my back. I'm so thankful to have strong lungs and a voice to express myself. It's sunny out, yay for that! But who else is ready for the warmer days we're supposed to get this week?? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I don't know about your houses, but my backyard is an ACTUAL swamp right now. We can't take anymore precipitation - frozen or otherwise!!! . I'm also pretty stoked for it to dry up and warm up, so that we can finally finish the studio project!
