What do I wear?
Whatever your heart desires! If you look at the gallery below, you’ll see I’m partial to neutrals. Light creams and beiges look amazing against the white background (light on light). Black is always classic, cool, and sophisticated. You can’t go wrong. That being said, a bright color can make a splash too. If you’re using these for a business, consider the brand’s colors and aesthetics as well. Emily (Magdalena Styles) also offers wardrobe consultations if you’d like to take it a step further.
Please wear different shoes in and change to your shoot wardrobe shoes in the studio to help keep the background clean.
How does styling work?
If you’ve chosen to add on styling, Emily will take great care of you, so all you have to do is show up with a clean face, and clean/day old hair! She’ll get with you to give you any more specific directions.
Scheduling may shift slightly due to the styling schedule as well. We’ll communicate any changes!
Where are these sessions taking place?
Sessions (and styling, if booked) will occur in the Kelley Photo Studio in Tonganoxie, KS. The address will be emailed to you in your confirmation message. When you arrive, please come in the French doors that face the road.
What’s the turnaround time on images?
Headshots will be edited and sent to you within 3 weeks. If you need them sooner, please communicate that to Kelley and a rush may be possible.
Who can be in the sessions?
These are open to all genders and ages (besides babies who can’t yet sit up)! Each person needs their own session, but two people may be included in back to back sessions.
